Fall Is Here!

The Beginning of Blessed Blooms

I didn't know how much I loved flowers.  I mean, I liked them just fine.  I enjoyed smelling them as I walked past. One day I was looking at my bare mantel thinking "It needs some flowers on it."  So what does one do when one wants to make something spectacular for their home....I went to pinterest!  I found a little blog about how to make a paper flower.  So I tried and I thought it was terrible.  It looked like crumpled up paper!  I couldn't let it go.  I desired to make it beautiful.  So I brainstormed all different ideas and tried many different approaches to make it look more real. I soon became obsessed with flowers.  Any time I go on a walk I am closely examining every flower I come across to see how I can make it.  I adore the feeling of completing a paper flower that looks beautiful and finished.  And even more so I adore the feeling of making a recipient happy, special, and thought of.  That is how my little obsession began....now you know. And you can now appreciate and enjoy the photos of projects I will be posting and you can even purchase any flower you want by emailing me or visiting my facebook page and messaging me.  www.facebook.com/blessedbloomsflowers
Have Blessed Day and be sure to check out the very first blog that tells you all about Blessed Blooms paper flowers.

About Blessed Blooms

Blessed Blooms paper flowers are made from paper that I dye myself so color varies on each flower.  I really like this because it makes each flower unique.  I cut and form each petal, leaf, stamen, etc. to replicate the original real flower as best as I can.  The prices of each flower are based on how much time it takes me to make it and how much of my supplies are used.  I also love to use old bottles for vases.  Most of my displays are using up-cycled jars and bottles :)  Paper flowers are sold by the stem or in arrangements made by yours truly.

I am willing to ship to you if you don't live here!  And I will be making an etsy shop soon.  I'll keep you updated on that. I do have a facebook page though.  www.facebook.com/blessedbloomsflowers   I'll see you there!

I also enjoy a challenge!  I love to get ideas from friends and folk for a new flower I haven't tried to make yet.  So feel free to leave a comment with your idea.
